Preface, Introduction

Preface and Introduction. The first few pages of the 5e Player’s Handbook (PHB) include the preface and introduction, the role of the Dungeon Master, the general flow of play, and die rolls, and related matters.  All of this is fairly generic as presented here.  For the most part, if I deviate from any of this it will be covered later on in my review of the various individual chapters.
